The Temple of Apollo
Last year, I was at the foot of the Temple of Apollo celebrating the 11th birthday of my son. Many people from all countries, speaking many languages, and practicing many religions spontaneously broke into song and sang "Happy Birthday" to him, and wished us well. This showed me that people can meet together to celebrate children and their hopes for the future. One book, Three Cups of Tea, by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin is another example of this told in such depth that you are carried into the oldest of places and made to feel the hope all teachers have for educating youth.
