Yet another agricultural crisis is with us today. More and more farmers and ranchers are giving up their family land. Small towns in America's heartland are closing down, their business districts and schools abandoned and in ruin. The agricultural population is dwindling as the U.S. rural diaspora continues unabated. Why is this happening? " Examine the reasons that exist today regarding this problem.

  1. I think that monopoly is the best choice for farmers because the government helps them to get more money from their goods an example will be a farmer that cultivates corn, the government would help him to burn half of his corn and he can sell the corn in a higher price. And plus the more u cultivate the soil the better it gets. Because if he cultivates all the corn then he will have to sell it cheaper and the price will go down and he will have no money to buy the fertilizer, gas,or personal nessecities for the farmer.

  2. The reason farmers and ranchers are giving up their family land because they can't make any money from the crops that they produce. They are making to many crops so they don't sell for to much so the farmer and rancher are losing money instead of making money so they can't pay their worker and the equipment. The farmer and rancher don't make the money they should from the crops that takes all year to make so they end up selling their farm or they just leave their home. The only way their can save their farmer is by burning their crops and having the government pay for the crops that got burned.

  3. In the agriculture, there are people saying that government had been keeping paying the farmers, they had get extra money from the land. If there is one day government stopping paying them, then farmers would stop burning the crops, and the land would turn bad, the price of vegetable would change. The better thing to do, is the government controls the farmers. Let farmers deal with the lands, and government would don't have to get into the farm, and government would save the money on putting chemicals in the earth. So the farm, farmers, consumers, and government would be balanced, nothing would be wrong with the cycle.

  4. I think problem of farming and ranchers are giving up their family land were so old. It happened in U.S. history since 1950-1980. This problem is still today such as America's heartland are closing down, schools are closing down. This is mostly likely happening because most of the time Farmers grew more than expected food and than prices of that food goes down dramatically. What usully happen after than is they lost their money and ask for grants from government. What government actully do is set a reasonable prize for the consumers and customers so no one can argued about the prizes. Sometimes Government pay farmers to burn their products so they can set the prizes easily.

  5. the reason of why people are living their farms
and going to cities, is because the government does not let them grow their crops. And the reason for that is because government wants to keep the price of crops high and control the economic market.

  6. A good example of monopoly is whenIn economics, the study of market structures under imperfect competition begins with the analysis of Monopoly. If there is a single seller in a certain industry and there are no close substitutes for the good being produced by him, then the market structure is that of a Pure monopoly. Sometimes, there are many sellers in an industry and/or there exist many close substitutes for the good being produced, but nevertheless firms retain some market power. This is called Monopolistic competition by economists, whereas Oligopoly refers to the case where the main theoretical framework revolves around firm's strategic interactions.

  7. Some people make their living by farming. Farming is the only thing they can have a life in this world. Maybe they didn't have confidence to finish school so they can a good job, but they choose to be a farmer.
Farmer are looking for a way so they can make a living. For example, If the farmer have farm of corn, and half of the people in this country have the same farm of corn, they have make some way to make a living. So, they will sell a lot of corn, but the corn price will go down.
One thing is good to use the soil is because, it will keep the soil moist and soft, but if you don't the soil will get dry and bad.
Government always have to come with a way to trick the farmer to burn down their corn because the less corn we have the higher the price will be.

  9. Farmer's giving up their family land, because sometimes they grow crops more than enough, and the value of the crops go down mor the treeple. Sometimes they burn more than half of their crops to make the value as a gold. I use the gold to compare crops, because not so many gold in the world, thats why the value is so up high. Farmers have to farm excatly we need, so wasting can be avoid.

The thing I don't understand is why do they do what they do when they know they will not make as much money and complain??NO,it shouldn't be like that if you know you will make your money with a good heart then everything is OKAY.
